Post Operative Instructions for Uncovering Implants
The gums will be sore for a few days because the implant posts are now visible in the mouth (more so if wearing a denture).
DO NOT floss the implants
DO NOT use a water pic around the implant.
You may rinse with warm water or gently rub the implant posts with a Q-tip.
It generally takes 2-3 weeks before the gum is healthy enough to resume treatment. We will have a follow up visit with you in approximately one week. At that time we will advise you when to see your dentist and remove any sutures is needed.
